Lovely parasite,
I learned to love and yearn for your bite.
You were a monster,
But you were mine.

And when I was bled dry,
You said it was your time to fly,
I was your prey,
But I called you mine.

You left heartache in your wake undreamed of,
But you came back
Just as I thought that I would die.

You said I was so pale and thin,
Without any pity, and you hid a grin,
